Donnaleigh Bailey

Donnaleigh Bailey (born 17 January 1983, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, West Midlands) is a British actress, best known for playing Senior Practice Nurse Michelle Corrigan in the BBC One daytime soap, Doctors. Her first episode, Junk Soul Brothers aired on the 8 June 2006. Donnaleigh is of Jamaican descent on her American-born Father's side and of Irish descent on her Mother's side.

During 2001 she had a recurring role as Jenny in the Carlton Television revived series Crossroads.

The following year she began her studies at the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).

In 2004 Donnaleigh had a guest spot on the BBC One continuing medical drama Holby City. She played Debbie Allen, a pregnant teen who loses her unborn child, in the episode One is the Loneliest Number.

In 2005 she played the part of Colleen O'Malley in Ruffian Production's, Martha Loves Michael. The play ran during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from the 4-29 of August at the Pleasance Theatre.

In 2007 she was nominated for Best Actress and Sexiest Female in the British Soap Awards for her role as Nurse Michelle Corrigan.
