Donna Tracy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Donna Tracy is a visual effects artist who has worked on several feature films including Star Wars and Spider-Man. As a free-lance artist she has created several pieces of art based on pieces of digital effects from the films she has worked on. This legal grey-area has caused some critics to be concerned that the work does not belong to her but the studios for which is was originally developed. She studied at the Experimental Animation Program at the California Institute of the Arts. Her student animation work was recently projected at the MOMA exhibition TOMORROWLAND: CalArts in Moving Pictures.
In 2001, she retired from her position at Sony Pictures, and currently teaches at Chaffey College.
