Dongdaemun Stadium, in Seoul, South Korea, is comprised of a soccer field, a baseball park, and other sports facilities. It was constructed in 1926 and remained the main center for sports events in Seoul until the Seoul Sports Complex was built for the 1988 Olympic Games. The football stadium is used most days as a flea market where all types of both new and second hand goods are sold it forms part of the massive Dongdaemun shopping district.

The 30,000-seat main stadium hosted some Football matches at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

  • It is often used for special events, for example the first ever game of the Korean baseball league was held here in 1982.
  • It is located near the Dongdaemun or Great East Gate and the surrounding Dongdaemun market has many vendors selling athletics related goods.
