Donald Guthrie

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dr Donald Guthrie was a British New Testament scholar who wrote several books and worked for the London Bible College, now London School of Theology. He died in 1992. Guthrie is well known for his epic works New Testament Introduction and New Testament Theology which some Evangelicals believe to be some of the most important books related to the Bible ever written. One or the other is almost invariably to be found in the bibliography of any book about the New Testament in general since its publication.
