Donald Ralph Wert (born July 29, 1938 in Strasburg, Pennsylvania) is a former third baseman in Major League Baseball for the Detroit Tigers from 1963 to 1970. Wert also briefly played for the Washington Senators in 1971.

Wert was the league leading defensive third baseman in 1965, in 1966 he hit a career high .266 in 150 games with 137 hits and 40 RBI. He was an Allstar on the championship 1968 Tigers team that won the World Series over the St. Louis Cardinals.

Wert is remembered for his defensive skills and his timely extra base hits including a dramatic triple clenching the 1968 pennant.
