Don Gross

Don Gross (December 23, 1933 - June 27, 1997) was a Country music singer and guitarist. During his musical career he traveled around the United States playing in small clubs and charity events, usually with a band.

He possessed the gift of a deep resonating voice, a big smile, and a knack for keeping an audience's attention.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s he played at the local club "Tailspin" in Fairfield, California while he was stationed at Travis AFB.

In 1963 and 1964 he and his band were featured numerous times on a Sunday morning country music show on local television in Springfield, Massachusetts.

During his musical career he had the opportunity to play backup rhythm guitar for country music legend Hank Thompson.
