Don Carlos (double sighted dog)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Don Carlos, "The Double-sighted Dog, was a dog used in a magic act who was purported to have psychic powers. In 1831 the dog performed before King William and the royal family. During the performance, the dog read minds while blindfolded. Shortly afterward, the dog was offered for sale. The owner explained that he was leaving for America, and the dog had a sensitive stomach with ". . . particular objection to a sea voyage"[1]
