Don't Worry Me Now
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Don't Worry Me Now is a song recorded by R&B artist Ne-Yo. It is one of many tracks that weren't placed on his debut album In My Own Words. When the song was leaked onto the internet, it quickly became a favorite amongst his fans. The song was later put onto his bootleg album, Spoken Words.
The song is about Ne-Yo's relationship between him and his girlfriend. In the song he talks about how he is always out cheating on her and taking other women out to dinner with his girlfriend being unaware of the situtation. As Ne-Yo's friends and family try to warn him that his actions have consequences and that one day he'd get caught, Ne-Yo would respond simply with the saying "Don't Worry Me Now". When he caught though, he sings throughout the rest of the song about how he thought he'd never get caught.
