This category is for Disney characters that primarily (or exclusively) appear in the "Donald Duck" universe. The Donald Duck universe is separated from the other main Disney universe (i.e. the Mickey Mouse universe) by rarely featuring Mickey or other key Disney characters (such as Goofy), and instead revolving around Donald Duck, his extended family and other characters with which he tends to interact. Stories tend to occur in the fictional city of Duckburg or similar cities. With the exception of the television series Quack Pack, most residents of the Donald Duck universe are anthropomorphic birds, often ducks, though other anthropomorphised animals frequently appear.

Regardless, the Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse universe are merely identifiable parts of one whole, and they intersect often (not least in joint Mickey and Donald stories).

The Donald Duck universe encompasses the tales of Scrooge McDuck, and thus incorporates the so-called "Scrooge McDuck universe" as well.
