Thank you for your contribution to this article. I have however removed the sentence,"He is on the authoritarian right of the Labour Party", which you added to the introduction. My reason for doing so is that it is a fairly contentious claim and is not backed up by any external references. To include it would compromise the neutrality of the article. In future might I suggest that potentially controversial additions to biographical articles are reference (esp. in the intoduction where unbalanced discussion can easily lead to bias).
