• Waidaminnit! I completely replaced the vanity page with a page about the song by The Singing Nun, who went on to OD on barbiturates in the 1980s. (See arguments for the existence of God) So at any rate it is completely different now, somewhat noteworthy, and should be kept. -- Smerdis of Tlön 16:04, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Yeesh. Couldn't we have deleted this and then gotten a new article Dominque (song) that didn't preserve this spam in its history? Dang it. The song is quite notable in quite a few ways, and more so than some current pop princess records, but I so don't like saving the spam. Geogre 20:13, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)

  • Not that I'm aware of, although that might well occur in the future, but I'm thinking more of the person who first created the nasty coming along and reverting it. It's true that that could happen with a de novo article, too, but I can sort of imagine the person saying, "Wait. That's not what I wrote!" and then overwriting it. Hypothetical, perhaps, but I sometimes feel like we're running along the highway with a litter bag cleaning up after folks. Geogre 01:25, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Je me suis bien marré en lisant ce qui suit The lyric nique in French is an obscenity for coitus and the song was (and still is) virtually unknown in France car c'est écrit comme un véritable conte de fées ;-))) En fait, le mot nique n'est apparu en français qu'une vingtaine d'années plus tard lorsque l'on a cherché à rendre le très élégant mother-fucker... Enfin, cette chanson soi-disant virtually unknown in France y était en fait très populaire, notamment dans les milieux proches du scoutisme. En revanche, on aurait pu écrire un article analogue et surtout véridique pour les Sucettes que Gainsbourg a fait chanter à Chantal Goya. 82.224.88.52 12:52, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
