Domirror (ドーミラー Dōmirā?, Domirror in original Japanese language versions) is one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Domirror in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]

Its name is a portmanteau of the Japanese word for bronze or copper ( ?) and the English word mirror.

Biological characteristics

Domirror resembles a circular mirror, coin or round shield, with two yellow eyes in the center. Small spherical knobs line its perimeter in a hexagonal formation. It also has a tree-like pattern on its back. It could also be based on a tambourine, with the knobs on its edges representing bells, which would make sense considering its evolved form is a bell-shaped Pokémon. Also from this premise it is possible that Domirror is based on a gong or cymbal.

Items that resemble Domirror have been excavated in ancient cemeteries, but it is unknown what the connection is between the items and the Pokémon.
