Dominique Sanda

Dominique Sanda (born Dominique Marie-Françoise Renée Varaigne on March 11, 1948 in Paris), is a French actress and former fashion model. She is noted especially for her work in some important European films of the seventies, such as Vittorio de Sica's Il Giardino dei Finzi-Contini, Bernardo Bertolucci's The Conformist and Novecento. and Liliana Cavani's Beyond Good and Evil. Sanda also starred in the films Steppenwolf with Max von Sydow and The Mackintosh Man with Paul Newman.
