[edit] Professional Career
He began his career on a tear, winning his first 24 fights, including a huge upset win over Michael Grant and a victory over Duncan Dokiwari. In 2004 he lost his first fight, a lackluster decision to Monte Barrett. He KO'd veteran Phil Jackson in his next fight, but then lost to future WBO heavyweight champ Sergei Liakhovich. In 2005 he then drew with Friday Ahunanya and lost to James Toney. In 2006, he upset Olympian Audley Harrison at the Agua Caliente casino, but in his next fight was surprisingly dominated by Tony Thompson, losing any momentum gained from the win over Harrison.
