Dominican Republic national baseball team

The Dominican Republic national baseball team is the national baseball team of the Dominican Republic. The team playing in the 2006 World Baseball Classic featured many Major League Baseball players. Along with the United States, the Dominican Republic was widely believed to make the finals of the tournament; however, they were defeated in the semifinals by Cuba.
