Talk:Dolores Winters (comics)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have edited the material in this article to reflect episodes found in the 1980s All-Star Squadron, a book which took place on Earth-2, before the Crisis on Infinite Earths of 1985. I do not beleive that the other material referring to the newly re-imaged Delores should stay in this article, as an article on Delores now exists. I figure the powers-that-be can decide this.
[edit] Merge with Delores Winters
- Agree. Obviously Delores and Dolores are the same character, altered due to the time-shattering effects of the Infinite Crisis. Like the "living" Ibis, or the "resurrected" Thirteen are not separate characters, but the same character retconned, or like the Golden Age Characters rebooted or slighlty altered to fit the Post-Crisis timeframe, like the whole JSA have not separate pages (a notable exception being Kal-L, and only due to his role as a whole separate character), I think the two pages must be merged, and the Dolores Winters one turned into a link to the Delores one. - Agree completely. The articles are nearly identical barring the matter of the o and the e. They should be merged under Delores Winters AND/OR Endless Winter. Nihilisticbrat 22:47 12 Feb 2007 (GMT)
- Agreed, the later story takes great pains to establish that it is the same characters. Merging under Endless Winter would avoid having to decide which spelling of the first name is "correct". That could, and should, be noted in the pub history. — J Greb 18:13, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. Also, there was another (probably non-canonical) Dolores Winters, who appeared in Legends of the DC Universe as part of the U.L.T.R.A. Humanite story. I've only got the first issue, so someone who knows what happened could add her. Daibhid C 13:59, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
