I think you are mistaken - Wikipedia is a defacto non-profit and will soon be a de jure one. --mav
Not because of the status issue, but because the "licence" is not GNU FDL compatible --Imran
Images are a special case and not subject to compulsory licensing under the GNU FDL. Many images in Wikipedia already are being used under similar permission. In fact this issue is covered under ===Fair use materials=== in Wikipedia:copyrights already. --mav
