Dolapdere is situated at the very heart of İstanbul. Dolapdere as a district hosts residents subject to poverty, exclusion and unemployment. Also, Dolapdere Campus of Bilgi University is located in this area. Bilgi has so far developed several social outreach projects to mobilize local people with free of charge training facilities and legal assistance.
