[edit] Past Warnings

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. JDoorjam Talk 00:02, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Parthenogenesis, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 11:02, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

Do these warnings ever expire? I mean, it's been like six months since that last message was put there, and being "blocked" from Wikipedia seems a little harsh. -dogman15 03:46, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blanking

Please refrain from blanking current warnings from this page. Thanks. --Yamla 02:15, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] False Accusations

Regarding all of these messages, at no time whatsoever did I have any intention of vandalism. I love Wikipedia too much to do something like that. On these 2 (or 3: see here) occasions, I apologize for any minor damages I may have made. However, I did not believe that I was vandalising at the time. If there is a way that the Wikipedia community could forgive me for this, that would be appriciated. Thank You.

(P.S. I don't even remember what that first one was anyway.)

[edit] Locked Open

Hello,

Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.

Thanks!--Vox Causa 22:49, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Relient K

Hey, just a head's up I keep on unwiki-linking the Sadie Hawkin's Dance in the Relient K article because it references what a Sadie Hawkin's Dance is not the song. Giving you a heads up why I am going to revert it back.--DJREJECTED 21:30, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Nationalization vs. nationalisation

Welcome, and thank you for correcting spelling on Wikipedia! However, both spellings of the word you "corrected" are acceptable.

Please familiarize yourself with American and British English spelling differences before making further spelling corrections to articles. Wikipedia has 4,063,357 registered users on this English Wikipedia. These editors use different versions of English including American English and British English. The list of dialects of the English language goes on and on.

When many styles are acceptable, avoid changing from one style to another unless there is some substantial reason for the change. It is acceptable to change from American spelling to British spelling only if the article concerns a British topic or vice versa or if you are making the article internally consistent.

More information is available at Wikipedia's Manual of Style. Enjoy your time on the encyclopedia. Thank you. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 04:53, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

American imperialist. Learn to (explitive) spell properly. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 222.155.208.49 (talkcontribs) 03:22, February 15, 2007 (UTC)
Please note that the above rude comment was not from me, despite the anon's attempt to forge my signature. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 04:35, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks Josiah. I didn't know about that particular British spelling rule. :) -dogman15 21:05, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Also

I was about to put a link to my dad's new DJ website, but then I thought I shouldn't because that would be advertising. Just thought I'd say so. (Never mind.) 235,711

[edit] Leak Less

While I appreciate you trying to clean up this article a bit (for example with the infobox) - you adding "really?" to the end of a citation template is considered vandalism. I won't give you an official warning since your other edit was in relatively good faith, but consider this a warning of a warning.Daniel()Folsom |\T/|\C/|\U/|(Can you help me with my signature?) 12:30, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

What I meant was (more or less, along the lines of): "Is a citation really needed for this?" I made the "really" in superscript so it would be known I was referring to the "{{cite}}". As I look back on this event, I realize that the talk page would've been a better place to put this.
Here is what that page looked like then:

"Very minor. The character is only seen in two scenes of varying importance. He is first seen having his tires changed, and then is seen in the crash.[citation needed]really?"
