[edit] Biography (from Dogs)

" Alright. So we get in the van, down to the arches and plug our guitars in to see what happens. Dogs are born. Five mates with eyes on better things. We put a 3-track demo together and drive to Camden where Roger spots us in the Bull and Gate. Roger Morton, manager, and man of few words, gets us on at "In The City" and we have the industry sniffing... Island records win the fight and we sign in spring 2004. Packing our bags with The Clash, Happy Mondays, The Jam, Pixies, Velvet Underground, Queens of the Stone Age, John Cooper Clarke, Orwell and Larkin we head down to Sawmills Studio - home to debuts from Oasis and Supergrass. Five weeks locked away with top producer John 'Y'all set' Cornfield and we've got a debut of our own...

Our first single "London Bridge" sells out in 24 hours. "She's Got a Reason" Tuned to a Different Station" "Selfish Ways" and "Tarred and feathered" follow, all making a mark in the hit parade. Then our album "Turn Against This Land" comes out in August 2005 to critical acclaim.

More importantly, we're out there playing live, setting about the country, packing them into venues big and small. In the front of the van we have the Legendary Jeff Thomas (tour manager), the Astonishing Andy Lewis (Guitar Tech) and Alex 'The Pipe' Pfiefer (Sound man). So, up and down the country we go, playing the toilets, pubs, clubs, halls, backrooms and arenas, meeting proper inspirations and making fans, friends and a few enemies along the way. Topping it all off by selling out ULU and inviting Paul Weller on stage with us to play 'A Bomb in Wardour St'.

It's been an amazing time so far. Thankyou to all you lot who drive so far to see us, the ones who shout "We are the Dogs" at the top of their voices and the ones that tip over the barriers down the front. Lastly, thanks to all the fans that support us on the internet and help spread our music. Right now we are back in the studio writing the next record, due out some time in 2006 - Year of the dogs.
