Template talk:DOClink
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In lieu of bugzilla:1578 never being fixed, I added PDF icons to all PDF links for browsers that support the CSS selectors, and modified the {{PDFlink}} template to add the icon for browsers that don't (as well as the filesize information and link to PDF). Should we do the same with these other similar templates?
Also, can we get a better icon?
We could change the PDF icon to (which was my second choice) from this theme designed for Mediawiki, and switch the RTF icons accordingly: (The author would probably tweak them for visibility if we wanted.) — Omegatron 18:52, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
If we make these templates function the same way, we should merge the talk pages into one, like Talk:File type templates, and create a more specific category for them, like Category:External link file type templates. — Omegatron 14:50, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
