Doctor Fink

"Doctor" Fink (also known as Matt (Matthew) Fink) is an American musician whose specialty is the synthesizer. He was a founding member of Prince's first band, The Revolution, usually appearing for performance dressed in surgical scrubs and mask, and continued working with Prince until 1990 as an early member of the New Power Generation (though the band was not officially named until after Fink's departure). He was the only member of The Revolution to continue to work with Prince after their breakup. Fink was also a member of the Jazz-fusion band, Madhouse.

Notable work with Prince includes writing and performing credits on the songs "Dirty Mind", "Head", "Jack U Off", "Computer Blue" and "Baby, I'm a Star", amongst others.

Following his work with Prince, Fink kept busy, working with K-tel and eventually releasing his own album in 2003.
