Docking web

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The docking web is a fictional device used on the science fiction television show Farscape. The web is an invisible force field (similar to a tractor beam used in other science fiction drama) which is used drag ships and other objects into a vessel's docking bay. The beam is never seen in the series as it is invisible, however it is used several times.

[edit] Appearances

When Crichton first arrives into the Uncharted Territories in his ship Farscape One it is brought onto the ship Moya with it. We learn the device's name in the episode "Back and Back and Back to the Future" when Crichton orders Pilot to use a tractor beam, only to be corrected.
