Doc Holliday (announcer)

Doc Holliday is a radio personality. Beginning his career in high school in early 1979, his last position was as a morning show host at XL 1067 FM, in Orlando, Florida.

He was also the announcer for "Family Double Dare" in its last season (1992-1993). Other appearances on the airwaves include the occasional walk-in on Clear Channel's 740 The Team and ESPN SportsTalk Radio. He has been the voice of the "Orlando Predators" (Arena Football League) for 7 years. During Spring Training for Major League Baseball, he can be heard announcing the line-ups and batters for both the Atlanta Braves (Disney's Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort) and Houston Astros (Astro Stadium in Kissimmee).


"Doc and Johnny in the the Morning" On March 5th, 2007, as the show entered its 17th year, Johnny Magic (announcer) announced on the air that Doc Holiday had decided to resign the position as host. At this time, Doc's new plans have not been made public, but it has been implied by the remaining cast, that he will be moving in a new direction.
