Dobřichovice is a town laying on both banks of the river Berounka, about 25 km south-west from the centre of the czech capital Prague. Dobřichovice is situated on the half way between Prague and Karlštejn Castle, one of the most famous castle in the Czech republic. Dobrichovice has about 3000 permanent inhabitants permanents and hunderts of people from Prague comes there during weekends to their secondary houses. Railway Line Prague - Beroun - Pilsen - Nuremberg, is situated on the right bank of the Berounka river.

Dobřichovice was proclamed town by the Czech parliament in 2006.
