Doane College is a private liberal arts college in Crete, Nebraska, with satellite learning centers in Lincoln and Grand Island. It was founded in 1872 as a Congregational institution by Thomas Doane, chief civil engineer of the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad. Doane is the oldest four-year private college in Nebraska.

Doane offers 38 undergraduate majors and three graduate programs in counseling, management, and education.
