DNA Finland

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

DNA Finland is a mobile phone network in Finland operated by the Finnet group of phone companies. The member companies of Finnet are current or former telephone cooperatives. The DNA network was started after a split up in the Finnet group. Originally the Finnish telephone cooperatives, headed by the Helsinki Telephone Association (HPY, now Elisa Oyj) started the Radiolinja network. After HPY was demutualized in 2000 and bought a number of former cooperatives, including the former Tampere Telephone Association, the remaining cooperatives ended their cooperation with Radiolinja and formed their own network.
