Dmitry Shapiro is the founder and current CEO of Veoh, a Web 2.0 startup located in La Jolla. A hobbyist videographer, activist and philanthropist Shapiro is also a world-recognized pioneer and visionary in electronic communications, peer-to-peer networking, social networking, and computer security. He is a frequent speaker at major technology and business events, and is widely quoted in the press, including InfoWorld, PCWorld, Computer World, eWeek, Internet World, and other publications.
