Dmitry Makarochkin (Russian: Дмитрий Макарочкин) is a former member of the Nizhny Novgorod Mafia in the district of Sormovo (based in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia). He was famous for being extremely cruel. Dmitry Makarochkin was born in 1964 in Nizhny Novgorod. He was very active during the 90s. Makarochkin graduated from the Politechnical Institute. He met his future wife there, Marina (Марина). They have got 2 children. Nowadays, Dmitry Makarochkin owns his own business and doesn't have any relations with mafia. For media, it is very suspicious for him to break all the contacts with mafia. Dmitry Makarochkin was often the target of attempted assassinations, being shot once in a restaurant and having his car riddled with bullets (the car was a 1995 Ford Maverick) on more than one occasion. However, the assassins were normally amateurs and he was never seriously wounded.
