Dmitriy Byakov (Kazakh: Дмитрий Бяков) is a Kazakhstani football midfielder. He was born on April 9, 1978. He plays for the club FC Astana since the year 2006. Byakov also plays for the Kazakhstan national football team. His first name is also sometimes translated as Dmitry.

Dmitriy Byakov's club career started in the year 1998 in the club CSKA Kairat Almaty and he has played for 7 different clubs ever since that. They are FC Kairat Almaty, FC Anzhi Makhachkala, FC Kairat Almaty, FC Aktobe-Lento, FC Shakhter, and finally, currently, FC Astana.
Dmitriy also started playing for the Kazakhstan national football team since the year 2000. He scored 1 international goal in a UEFA game in September 2006, against Azerbaijan.[1] It was the very first goal for Kazakhstan in the UEFA European Football Championship qualifying tournament after Kazakhstan had moved from the Asian to the European qualifying zone. The game ended up to be a tie at 1-1.
