[edit] Collectability indicators in D&D Miniatures

Hi there

I just saw your re-added images to D&D Miniatures where once again reaped by the OrphanBot. Since the shapes are really nothing to phone home about (so simple, in fact, that i doubt that copyright can be enforced on them), maybe it would be better to re-draw these in some graphics program, and then release them to the Public Domain? This way we can probably avoid re-enabling them time and again (which also would go against the rules, i believe).

What's your position on this?

[edit] Your edits on Baiji

Hi. I accidentally removed the image you inserted into Baiji while removing some spam from another user. However, your image was licensed incorrectly and may be deleted soon unless you change the license, so I won't reinsert it into the article until then. Thanks for your understanding. [edit] License tagging for Image:Tarrasque06.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Tarrasque06.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:13, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

I've deleted this image again. It's copyrighted by someone else, not a free image, which means we can't host it here unless under a claim of fair use, and no valid claim would obviously apply. Mangojuicetalk 21:44, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
