[edit] History

DKSH stands for Diethelm Keller SiberHegner, the names of the four families, who originally founded trading companies in the Asia Pacific region. The history of DKSH dates back to the 1860s, when three Swiss entrepreneurs ventured to Asia: Wilhelm Heinrich Diethelm journeyed to Singapore, Edward Anton Keller chose the Philippines, while Hermann Siber headed for Yokohama. The once small trading houses established by the three founders, overtime became big players in South East Asia, the eastern Asia Pacific region, Japan and China.

The Diethelm Group and the Keller Group teamed up in 2000. Two years later, SiberHegner and Diethelm Keller's Asian business were brought together under the DKSH banner.
