Hi DKam, I just noticed your question from last year regarding "Cosby"/"One foot in the grave". You've probably found out by now, but Cosby is definitely based on One Foot and there's even a quick mention of the fact on the rolling credits at the end of each Cosby episode. Other than having human beings in both versions, I see no other similarities whatsoever! David Renwick is listed as Executive Producer on both, but he definitely must have had very influence over Cosby as its whole look, feel, plots and humour are as far removed from One Foot as you could possibly make them!
