Most of what I'm willing to tell you could be gleaned from the articles I edit, but I'll put it here in one place. I have a B.A. in English from Cleveland State University and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College. Even though it's my area of expertise, I rarely edit articles on literature or authors. This is because, while there are many important authors who don't have articles, the articles that do exist are generally good, and I believe in improving existing articles before adding new ones.
I live in Yonkers, New York and -- full disclosure -- work for Sarah Lawrence College. To avoid the appearance of impropriety I avoid editing the school's article except to 1.) revert vandalism, 2.) add photographs, and 3.) undo all edits that further the illusion that Sarah Lawrence is in Bronxville.
I've lived in a number of places, but I was born in Michigan, and my sports allegiances have remained there. First and foremost, I follow the Detroit Tigers and Michigan Wolverines football, but I also follow Michigan basketball, and the other pro teams based in Detroit. This is my primary interest on Wikipedia.
Other things I'm interested in that you wouldn't know from my user contributions: Ben Folds, Amy Hempel, The Big Lebowski, cats, The Band, Alfred Hitchcock, The Virgin Suicides (the book), Casablanca (the movie), unreliable narrators, Oldsmobile Cutlass Supremes, and Anchor Steam Beer.
