[edit] Early Years

Patzer was born on 7 December 1970. From an early age, Patzer had a healthy interest in music and on his 6th birthday received a guitar from his parents. Patzer could not play the guitar so aged 10 began to pursue DJ-ing. His main influences are DJ Joey and John Lennon. He began to DJ at Club Mango in 1986 on a weekly basis. He was signed by Florida Records in 1988.

[edit] Break through Success

At age 18, his first album was released to critical success in Mongolia but mostly Ghana. It was titled 'Summertime' after the lead track on the album. It found a large fan base in Ghana after radio play from a hit station on a regular basis. It rose to 62 in the Mongolian charts. After selling 11,000 copies in Ghana, Patzer went on tour for two years but returned with 'Wintertime' in 1990 which was released again to an eager audience in Ghana. It outsold his first album by 3,000 copies. Patzer embarked on an extremely successful tour in India and it was here that Patzer was spotted by Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim). Patzer was offered a position at the Glastonbury Festival in 1990 and this was where Patzer was to have his most famous of performances as he collaborated with Fatboy Slim to an audience of 35,000 people. This was also where Patzer was charged with a 10,000 pound fine for igniting a riot when the crowd began to boo him and charged towards the stage.

[edit] Halloween Time

A third album (Halloween Time) was released in the spring of 1991 and in this album Patzer collaborated with DJ Sammy, and this album foung small success in Colombia, new territory for Patzer. Controversy struck in 1993 when Patzer was allegedly in a brawl with Colombian fans on his 'Dance Forever' tour. Patzer was arrested and spent five days in jail. Patzer was again charged a fine - the hospital bill for the man whose head he had repeatedly smashed into a wall.

[edit] Falltime

After a 4 year absence, Patzer returned in 1996 with 'Falltime', his biggest selling album to date and went to 17 in the Burmese charts with Wintertime (Remix Vol.7). His penultimate album 'Springtime'(1998) was released but did not find an audience in Colombia or Ghana this time, leading to a decrease in sales.

[edit] The End

In 2001, around the time Patzer's final album to date was released (Summertime Remix Vol.2) he was arrested on suspicion of molestation and burglary. He was sentenced to jail, this time for 6 years and Patzer has not been heard of since.
