Dj Disease

The past few months, there has been many request for an article about Dj Disease on Wikipedia so one has decided to start one.

Disease is the artist's name of the Dutch DJ and Producer 'Jochem Stoel'. Disease generally produces Industrial Hardcore but is never affraid to try a new style, or combine multiple.

Nobody knows exactly when but somewhere in 2004, Jochem Stoel decided to focus on the history of Industrial music styles. He found this interesting enough to try and (re)mix some of his favourite songs. Somewhere in the end of 2005, Jochem started to produce his own tracks, using his computer and very limited equipment.

Back then his success seemed far away and unreachable to himself, but stubborn as he was, he didn't pay attention to the facts. It was that same period where Disease actually began to form it's meaning. In the underground music industry, his music spread like a Disease over the internet and via contacts.

In 2006, Jochem all of a sudden raised up with great songs like:

• A King Under the Rainbow
• It's my Time to Rise
• Pain is a game
• The Untitled
• Nymphetamine

Now Jochem has been offered many contracts, and has the possibility to grow beyond his imagination but for some reason, he hasn't even considered accepting one, which is confusing to both his fans and the record companies.

Dj Disease is on the egde of a great breakthrough which is very much dependant on the coming of his album 'HybRid' which is expected November 2007.
