DJ Swivel, born Jordan Young in 1984, is a Canadian music producer, audio engineer, and DJ. Born in Toronto, Swivel later moved to New York City where he currently resides.

When growing up he was heavily influenced by pop artists like Michael Jackson and New Edition, through to Green Day and Nirvana. After progressing through a number of musical instruments - violin, trumpet and bass guitar - Swivel finally settled on turntables. After deejaying for several years, he secured his first gig at The Guvernment, Toronto’s largest nightclub. That led to many more across Ontario and Quebec, including residencies at Karma, live to air on Kiss92 (Toronto’s highest rated radio station at the time), as well at The Drink in London, Ontario. He played alongside DJs and artists including Jazzy Jeff, Whoo Kid, G-Unit, and many others.

Swivel moved to Orlando, Florida in 2004, and after graduating top of his class at Full Sail, he relocated once again to New York where he works alongside Duro, a mix engineer in the urban music industry, as well as CEO of Desert Storm Records (Fabolous, DJ Clue). This allowed Swivel to meet key players in the industry, including Jay-Z, Diddy, LA Reid, Kanye West, Fabolous and Ice Cube, among others. Swivel has six engineering credits on Diddy's latest release, Press Play as well as recording the majority of the upcoming Fabolous album, titled From Nothing To Something, due out in February 2007.
