DJ DMD was born in Port Arthur, Texas. He formerly produced songs for underground artists. Years later he turned into an artist sold many copies of his debut album was titled Eleven. He sold 75,000 copies of his second self-released album Twenty-Two: P.A. World Wide through his own label, Inner Soul Records. He's also on point at his own record store in Port Arthur. His song "25 Lighters" was his number one hit in the late 1990s, the song which made him become a well known artist.
