Dixie Heights High School

Dixie Heights High School is a 4-A high school located at 3010 Dixie Highway in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. The school's athletic teams are known as "Colonels".

The school was built by the Works Progress Administration and is operated by the Kenton County School District. It opened for classes in 1936 and was dedicated by Eleanor Roosevelt. The main building is nearly identical in construction and materials to Simon Kenton High School, located in Independence, Kentucky. The school was originally to be named for Franklin D. Roosevelt. The name of the school is derived from being located directly on U.S. Route 25/U.S. Route 42, the former being popularly known as Dixie Highway.
