[edit] Re: Thank you

No problem. At least you kept a cool head, which is the important part. Too many new users and anonymous users lose their cool, make personal attacks, and get blocked indefinitely. I'd like to point out, though, that adding The Wiire to External links did not reach consensus on the talk page of the article. --M1ss1ontomars2k4 | T | C | @ 23:47, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

You didn't by chance move a page to "<blah> on wheels", did you? ;) --M1ss1ontomars2k4 | T | C | @ 02:56, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Revolution-Europe.com

Hey, i'm not very familiar with Wikipedia, but i assumed that anyone was allowed to edit pages, as long as the nature is good. For this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii

I edited an external link at the bottom of the page. I pasted a non-official link to a site which i have been visiting for a very long time now. The site is called Revolution-Europe, but used to be known as Cube-Europe. You could check out the wikipedia page for cube europe or revolution europe. Here it is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revo-Europe

Basically, my thinking behind it was that we had something to offer if Nintendo fans or viewers of this wikipedia page wanted extra information or the chance to discuss topics in our message board. I have been visiting Cube-Europe for many years now, and have worked through the ranks to become part of the forum staff. We do have a lot to offer and i think we serve well as a wealthy alternative site to places such as TheWiire or Cubed3, both of which have links on that page.

Thanks very much for your time, and i look forward to reading your reply.

Regards, Fierce_LiNk

[edit] Wii Messaging Service

Hi, I have reviewed your tagging of this article for speedy deletion. I have removed the speedy tag since the article clearly does not meet the quoted speedy deletion crtiterion. I also notice that you left a message on User:Uturnaroun's talk page saying you had nominated the article for AfD. Unfortunately AfD is a different process than speedy deletion (see WP:AFD). Your message to Uturnaroun was therefore misleading. Please take a littloe more time to familiarize yourself with the various Wikipedia processes for deletion because right now you seem to be misapplying the policies. Many thanks, Gwernol 10:54, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Wikitendo.jpg listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Wikitendo.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. [edit] Blocked

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule at Wii. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

[edit] License tagging for Image:Forecast channel.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Forecast channel.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:TP Link.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:TP Link.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Speedy deletion of Lexx/LEXX Vs Lexx Discussion

A tag has been placed on Lexx/LEXX Vs Lexx Discussion, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

This appears to be an AfD discussion that somehow was saved as an article page.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 19:17, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
