[edit] Revert by Master Jay

Why were the edits by 70.49.157.3 reverted? Was there a copyright issue? I've tried to verify this through a google search, but haven't found any hits. -seliopou 03:03, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

No copyright issue. I have corrected my mistake - I didn't see the extensiveness of the automatic revert. I originally wanted to revert this, however, I mistakingly must have reverted a whole article. I'll be sure it won't happen again. Thanks for pointing it out, and sorry for the confusion. --Jay(Reply) 03:14, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed Deletion

The reasons for proposed deletion mention that the artist in question does not have his own domain. The reasons furthermore mention the artists mySpace page implying that (a) mySpace pages are not reliable sources -- a very dabatable proposition -- and (b) an official page does not exist or is not linked to.

Whether or not an artist has his own domain is not at all relevant to the discussion, as having a domain is not necessary nor is it sufficient for verifiability. Furthermore the tacit assumtion that having a domain is necessary for an artist to be noteworthy is false.

I will choose to not address (a) at the moment, as this is not the appropriate forum. (Also, it not an issue that can be dealt with easily.) I will say these things, however: (1) Madonna has a mySpace page, and (2) The Storm Tour, in which Diverse will be performing along with a number of other undergrounnd hip-hop acts, uses a mySpace page as its official web site on flyers. It is sponsored by Scion.

As for (b), his official site was linked to directly below the link to his mySpace page. Many artists use as their offical page a page provided to them by their record label. The ordering of these links may be questionable, but to say that he "has only a mySpace profile" listed in this article or otherwise is simly not true.-seliopou 16:02, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
