Divya is an Indian female name. It means Divine in Sanskrit and Tamil. It is also a reference to the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi. It also refers to the similar name Diya, meaning light. Divya, therefore, means "heavenly light" or "light of God" or "divine brilliance." 'Divya' also means a beautiful female with divine powers.
