Divriği Great Mosque, was built in 1299 situated in the Sivas province. The architect was Hürremşah of Ahlat and the mosque was built on the order of sultan Mengüçoğlu, Ahmet Şah. The inscriptions contain praise to the Seljuk sultan Alaaddin Keykubat I. The mosque, along with the darüşşifa, is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List because of the exquisite carving and architecture. It is considered to be one of the most important works found in Anatolia; the geometrical and floral patterned reliefs found on the main door in particular attract great interest.
