Division of Holt
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Division of Holt is an Australian Electoral Division in Victoria. The division was created in 1969 and is named for Harold Holt, who was Prime Minister of Australia 1966-67. It is located in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, including Cranbourne, Doveton, Hampton Park, Endeavour Hills and Narre Warren. Although it has usually been held by the Australian Labor Party, on its current boundaries it is a highly marginal seat as a redistribution has cleanly cut off its Labor stronghold of Dandenong.
