Disuq

Disuq (Arabic: دسوق) is a small city which is located 80 K.M. south east of Alexandria. It belongs to Kafr ash Shaykh Governorate.
Disuq was the capital of Hyksos, the raiders who came to Egypt from Palestine in the Pharaohs era. It was called Pluto. Ahmose fought on the Hyksos tribes. Then they were kicked out of Egypt.
Disuq layes beside the nile,where there are only two bridges to enter the city. many important egyptien characters were came out from disuq too like:ahmed zeweil,mohammed roshdy,mohammed safa'a amer and ahmed ibrahim elnagar, and abdel-salam mohammed nasar, a famous politician in the city.
