Disney's All-Star Sports Resort

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is a resort that is part of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It is one of four Resorts in the Value Resort category, along with Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, and Disney's Pop Century Resort. The resort is located on the southern portion of the WDW property and has a Sports theme. As is characteristic with all Disney Value resorts, the property is decorated with giant novelty items such as SurfBoard Bay, the baseball-themed Grand Slam Pool and a football field with large X's and O's and a giant football helmet. Initially Disney provided separate buses to each of the All-Star resorts. In an apparent move to save costs, all 3 All-Star resorts usually share a common bus route; stopping first at All-Star Sports, next at All-Star Music and then last at All-Star Movies. Being the last resort for pick-up, guests frequently find standing room only and sometimes cannot get on the first bus when departing All-Star movies. The problem is less frequent at All-Star Music and usually not a problem at All-Star Sports.
