Discovery Health Channel is a Canadian category 1 digital cable specialty channel owned by Alliance Atlantis Communications and Discovery Communications. The channel features a variety of programming based on human health issues, wellness and medicine.
Licensed as Health Network Canada by the CRTC on November 24, 2000; it launched as Discovery Health Channel on August 15, 2001.
