The Disco-Funk Explosion is a specialty program broadcast each Sunday from 2000 to 2200 PST on 90.5 FM KSJS in San Jose, California that features obscure, danceable R&B from 1980 to 1995. The host, Joey Toledo, spins tunes from unknown groups like Kopper and Gee Bellow, along with minor hits and album cuts from established acts like the Gap Band and the Whispers. Each week features a theme, such as "one-hit wonders" or songs from movie soundtracks.
