[edit] external link / information related to abundance farm

At one point recently I had put an external link on this page to my farm in diriamba (abundancefarm.com). I now have read more carefully and realize that putting a link to a site one owns or manages is not non-neutral and that one shouldn't do that on wikipedia, makes sense. I do think that anecdotal information is relevant, also I think that some of what I've been doing in Diriamba is relevant and interesting to wikipedia users. However, I'm not non-neutral so I won't put the link back up or describe more about it on the page. Other relevant information I could provide could concern a machete attack that took place in Diriamba in 2005. What I think is interesting about abundance farm is 1) what we originally tried to do - create a sustainable village for foreigners in Diriamba and 2) what we have changed our project into now, which is a self-sufficient farm that hosts guests. You could say it is a commercial venture, because we do charge people $40 per week for the first 2 weeks (includes room/board) but this doesn't cover expenses, it is more of a charitable service we provide! we host volunteers without pay after their initial "training period". OK so that's my 2 cents. Peterchristopher 14:27, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
