I can see no reason to use capitals in the normal use- "Dir Gen Vernon Kell" is OK, but "the dir gen of MI5". BBC says lower case, MI5 says Title Case. This is one thing I trust the BBC more on than MI5. Rich Farmbrough 14:30 13 March 2006 (UTC).
